Why Pod Times Square works for a New York winter trip
The location reduces the late-night journey after a Broadway show and keeps Times Square within an easy walk. Port Authority subway connections are useful when cold weather makes repeated avenue walks unattractive.
Compact rooms are the defining trade-off. Winter coats, boots and large suitcases consume space quickly, so this works best for organised travellers with limited luggage. Hell’s Kitchen is convenient for restaurants but the immediate area remains busy.
